 The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority offers a variety of free classes. Classes are open to all IHSS caregivers, potential caregivers listed with the Caregiver Registry, and consumers.
Classes:
· Support caregivers in the workplace
· Increase caregiving skills
· Educate consumers about the role of employer
· Share information about the IHSS program
We work with agencies throughout Sacramento County to provide quality education. Class sizes are limited. Certificates of attendance are provided, however, classes do not offer Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
