PAYROLL HELP DESK HOURS CHANGE
In an effort to process care provider timesheets and to match the changed lobby hours at 9750 Business Park Drive, Payroll Help Desk hours will be changing to 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday, effective as of today, August 25, 2010. This change is expected to result in quicker turn around time for timehseets and other payroll documents.
IHSS Provider Hourly Wage in Sacramento County Will Remain Unchanged
Although the State of California, to help balance the state budget for the upcoming fiscal year, will limit their participation level in IHSS provider wages, the wage in Sacramento County will remain at $10.40 through the current labor agreement term ending November 2009.
IHSS provider wages are paid through participation from the federal, state and county governments. Each entity pays a percentage of the total hourly wage. The state has determined that beginning July 1, 2009, they will cap their participation at $9.50 per hour wage. However, the federal stimulus package increased the federal contribution to the IHSS wage for a limited time, making it possible to continue the $10.40 per hour wage.
